SSI Dive Map is a map of every scuba dive I’ve done. It opens on a dark, full-screen ocean with one glowing marker per site, sized by how many times I’ve dived there. Hover a marker and a small card floats up with the depth and the average time in the water. Click through and there’s a page for each dive.

The data comes straight from my SSI logbook. A scheduled job pulls in new dives after a trip and redeploys, so the map keeps itself current. It’s a static Next.js site with MapLibre for the map, and it’s open source if you want to fork it for your own dives.
